For a vivid, true red result, pre-lightening to a level 8–10 is recommended. Manic Panic Pillarbox™ Red on unbleached hair adds a subtle red tint. Try the Manic Panic Flash Lightning® Bleach Kit to lift your colour 3–4 levels.

Medium Blonde

Due to the bold pigmentation of this shade, it can be applied to a level 6 base. It is likely that the result will appear as more of a colour tint rather than a vibrant finish.

Bleached Blonde (Current Product)

This shade can be applied to a bleached blonde base. Bleached blonde hair can contain some yellow tones so is better suited to shades with a warmer hue.

Light Blonde

This shade should be applied to a light blonde base or above. A light blonde and toned base will not interfere with the majority of our colours and should produce visibly vibrant results.

White Blonde

This shade will require a level 10 white blonde base. This shade does not hold as much pigmentation within its formula so will need a blank canvas in order to produce a visible result.
