DESCRIPTION
Dark and moody red tones aren’t only for the vampires of this world, the Manic Panic High Voltage Classic Colour in Infra Red knows exactly what it means to be a fan favourite! Bright red and dark red hairstyles continue to have a place among the highest trending hair colours and looks; this burnt red tone makes a beautiful option no matter how you choose to wear it!
The true tone of this red hue is very subtle, no matter the base colour, however, its overall pigmentation will darken the hair. Applying Manic Panic Infra Red on bleached hair will result in a deepened overall look with a gothic red hue, whereas if the Infra Red tone was to be applied to an unbleached base, the result of the red undertone would appear weaker but could appear in certain lights.
Remember, the darker your base colour, the darker your result.

⚡ How many 118ml pots will I need to cover my hair? ⚡
✨ Short to bob length hair: 1- 2 pots depending on the thickness of hair.
✨ Shoulder to waist length hair: 2 - 3 pots depending on the thickness of hair. May require an extra pot to complete ends if the hair is thick.
✨ Waist and below length hair: 3 + pots depending on thickness.
For Best Results
Even those with a medium to light brown hair shade should consider pre-lightening their hair before dyeing. For this shade, we recommend lightening hair, with bleach, to a shade 9. A Manic Panic Flash Lightning Kit is sure to help lighten your hair and ready it for semi-permanent hair dye.
Please note: Finished visual results may vary dependent on hair type, porosity and the natural base colour.
Due to the bold pigmentation of this shade, it can be applied to a level 6 base. It is likely that the result will appear as more of a colour tint rather than a vibrant finish.
This shade can be applied to a bleached blonde base. Bleached blonde hair can contain some yellow tones so is better suited to shades with a warmer hue.
This shade should be applied to a light blonde base or above. A light blonde and toned base will not interfere with the majority of our colours and should produce visibly vibrant results.
This shade will require a level 10 white blonde base. This shade does not hold as much pigmentation within its formula so will need a blank canvas in order to produce a visible result.

Faster Fade Rate
As this colour is particularly light in pigment, it has a faster fade rate than other shades. This colour has a colour longevity of 2-4 weeks depending on the base colour, the porosity of the hair, and how the colour is maintained.

Formulated with a a regular level of pigment, this colour features a fade rate of at least 4-6 weeks. This fade rate may occur quicker or exceed the expectations due to certain attrubutes such as the base colour, hair porosity, and maintenance.

Bolder For Longer

This colour is a part of our longer-lasting colour range. Fortifed with 30% more pigment than our regular fade colours, this shade is likely to last in the hair for 6-8+ weeks. Consider certain attributes that might affect this such as base colour, maintenance, and hair porosity.

These colours will appear their brightest on pre-lightened hair between a level 7-10 depending on the shade. However, you might find with some of our highly pigmented and deeper shades can produce a muted hue on a darker base colour.
