After Midnight Blue Manic Panic consists of undertones of green and can provide a luscious dark blue hue on an unbleached base. Take your alt style to another level with this chic blue shade!
Applying Manic Panic After Midnight on dark hair can produce a deep blue hue but if you're aiming to achieve that vivid deep blue effect, then we recommend applying this dye to a level 9-10 pre-lightened blonde. Due to its green undertone, ensure your base is clean and well-toned before applying this Manic Panic After Midnight blue as any yellow hues may produce an unexpected tone.

✨ Short to bob length hair: 1- 2 pots depending on the thickness of hair.
✨ Shoulder to waist length hair: 2 - 3 pots depending on the thickness of hair. May require an extra pot to complete ends if the hair is thick.
✨ Waist and below length hair: 3 + pots depending on thickness.
For Best Results
Even those with a medium to light brown hair shade should consider pre-lightening their hair before dyeing. For this shade, we recommend lightening hair, with bleach, to a shade 9. A Manic Panic Flash Lightning Kit is sure to help lighten your hair and ready it for semi-permanent hair dye.

Bleach Level Needed

Due to its highly pigmented formula, this shade can be applied to a medium blonde base or lighter. Please note, that the lighter the base the colour to more more noticeable and vibrant the pigmentation will appear.

This shade can be applied to a bleached blonde base. Bleached blonde hair can contain some yellow tones so is better suited to shades with a warmer hue.

Light Blonde
(Current Product)
This shade should be applied to a light blonde base or above. A light blonde and toned base will not interfere with the majority of our colours and should produce visibly vibrant results.

This shade will require a level 10 white blonde base. This shade does not hold as much pigmentation within its formula so will need a blank canvas in order to produce a visible result.

Faster Fade Rate
Those shades that appear lighter in tone will be the first to fade. Pastel shades and light shades hold less pigmentation within the formulas; this enables the colour to fade much quicker than those that produce vibrant and bold results. These shades make a great option for those who enjoy changing their hair colour on a regular basis or are only able to colour their hair for a certain amount of time.

Regular Fade Rate
These shades hold a standard amount of pigmentation so tend to fade at a regular rate of 4-6 weeks. This can differ due to certain actions such as how the colour is maintained and the base colour that the colour was originally applied to.

Bolder For Longer

Due to high pigmentation levels, these shades are expected to stick around between 6-8+ weeks. The longevity of your colour can be altered depending on how the colour is maintained once coloured, however, it is best to ensure you are committed to the colour due to its added pigmentation.
