Explore an intergalactic-inspired shade with Manic Panic High Voltage Classic Colour Alien Grey. Use the Manic Panic Alien Grey hair dye to elevate a grey hair tone to an out-of-this-world result! This cool-toned slate grey semi-permanent dye can be used to enhance and transform a natural grey hue or add a starry result to a light blonde base.
To get the full experience of this grey Manic Panic semi-permanent hair dye we recommend applying Alien Grey to a pre-lightened and toned base that has reached a level 10 blonde base. You can also use Alien Grey to add a dusky effect to your Manic Panic colour choice; simply gradually mix Alien Grey into a shade of your choice and get customising.
The Manic Panic High Voltage Classic Colour range uses 100% vegan ingredients and is a cruelty-free formula that is tested on celebrities, not animals. Customise and create with our intermixable tones and experience nourished and smooth results; fortified with 98% conditioner, give your hair a high-quality treatment whilst transforming its colour!
⚡ How many 118ml pots will I need to cover my hair? ⚡
✨ Short to bob length hair: 1- 2 pots depending on the thickness of hair.
✨ Shoulder to waist-length hair: 2 - 3 pots depending on the thickness of hair. May require an extra pot to complete ends if the hair is thick.
✨ Waist and below length hair: 3 + pots depending on thickness.
For Best Results
Even those with a medium to light brown hair shade should consider pre-lightening their hair before dyeing. For this shade, we recommend lightening hair, with bleach, to a shade 10. A Manic Panic Flash Lightning Kit is sure to help lighten your hair and ready it for semi-permanent hair dye.

Bleach Level Needed

Due to its highly pigmented formula, this shade can be applied to a medium blonde base or lighter. Please note, that the lighter the base the colour to more more noticeable and vibrant the pigmentation will appear.

This shade can be applied to a bleached blonde base. Bleached blonde hair can contain some yellow tones so is better suited to shades with a warmer hue.

This shade should be applied to a light blonde base or above. A light blonde and toned base will not interfere with the majority of our colours and should produce visibly vibrant results.

This shade will require a level 10 white blonde base. This shade does not hold as much pigmentation within its formula so will need a blank canvas in order to produce a visible result.

Faster Fade Rate
Those shades that appear lighter in tone will be the first to fade. Pastel shades and light shades hold less pigmentation within the formulas; this enables the colour to fade much quicker than those that produce vibrant and bold results. These shades make a great option for those who enjoy changing their hair colour on a regular basis or are only able to colour their hair for a certain amount of time.

Regular Fade Rate

These shades hold a standard amount of pigmentation so tend to fade at a regular rate of 4-6 weeks. This can differ due to certain actions such as how the colour is maintained and the base colour that the colour was originally applied to.

Bolder For Longer
Due to high pigmentation levels, these shades are expected to stick around between 6-8+ weeks. The longevity of your colour can be altered depending on how the colour is maintained once coloured, however, it is best to ensure you are committed to the colour due to its added pigmentation.

Known to last between 4-6 weeks, this range gives you a good amount of time to enjoy your new colour and show it off, before starting to plan for your next colour!
These colours will appear their brightest on pre-lightened hair between a level 7-10 depending on the shade. However, you might find with some of our highly pigmented and deeper shades can produce a muted hue on a darker base colour.
