The Evil Minions from Despicable Me 2 appear similar to the Minions we know from the rest of the movies, however, their appearance couldn’t set them more apart. From their longer limbs and exaggerated teeth not to mention their bright purple hair colour that is completely out of control as it stands on one end! These evil characters can easily be recreated for those currently working with vibrant purple hair.

The director of The Nightmare Before Christmas, Henry Selick brought a fantastic stop-motion animated film surrounding the life of a young girl who discovers the ‘other’ world behind a small door in her new house. However, within this world, things seem a lot more frightening than in her normal world, plus all of the people have buttons for eyes. We are of course talking about Coraline! In this frightening animation, there are plenty of awesome characters you could take inspiration from, but those of you with dark blue hair already might want to consider Coraline as your 2022 Halloween costume.
With this character, you could opt to keep things fairly simple by adding a yellow raincoat, some yellow boots and a blue hair colour. However, you could even recreate Coraline in the ‘other’ world for your Halloween fancy dress by adding a pair of black button eyes or even getting creative with your makeup and face paint to give the illusion of button eyes by painting them on your eyelids.
To create this creepy-looking character you’ll also need a dark navy blue hair dye. The wizarding world is filled with all sorts of magic both good and evil as well as mythical creatures and beings of all varieties including wizards and witches that were also known to be Metamorphmagus.
