This season, why not experiment with a classic autumnal hair colour: Copper? Copper is a beautiful, rich colour, but it is also known for its versatility as a colour that offers a variety of shades and tones for us to experiment with. Within the umbrella of copper hair colours, discover shades such as cowboy copper, penny lane copper, strawberry copper, and many more. If you like the idea of creating your own version of copper this autumn but you’re not quite sure where to begin, try the Manic Panic Copper Kitty Love Color™ Colour Depositing Conditioner.
The Copper Kitty Love Color™ Conditioner is a beautiful, rich auburn shade that makes a noticeable difference on many hair colours, but works best on a level 7 and above. The Love Color™ Conditioners are simple to use; apply to damp hair, preferably after shampooing, and leave to process for a minimum of 10 minutes or longer. Once you’ve rinsed and styled, enjoy your new vintage copper look for up to 6 weeks and top up as and when required!
If the more natural approach to creative colour just isn’t your thing, you’ve come to the right place! Whilst we adore a striking yet natural result, we’re all about the colour really. The Manic Panic orange and red ranges are full of vivid and striking colours that are definitely worth experimenting with! There’s so many ways to mimic the rich tones of autumn through the colours of your hair and an orange and red colour palette couldn’t hit the nail on the head more.
Manic Panic affiliate, @cassieolivia_hair, transformed her client’s hair with two of the most distinctive colours from the Manic Panic range, Vampire Red and Psychedelic Sunset. These two colours intertwined create a fiery result, perfect for the warming hues that come with autumn. Cassie has chosen to blend the two colours by creating Vampire Red roots with Manic Panic Psychedelic Sunset ends; Vampire Red panels have also been added throughout the canvas to create a dimensional finish!
Alternatively, if you prefer a true orange finish that embodies the essence of vibrancy and wild colour, Psychedelic Sunset is our brightest orange shade in the collection. This pure orange hair colour doesn’t hold back on creating something unmissable, and this example of it in use is just what we like to see at this time of year! Manic Panic ambassador @emdoeshair232 uses a mix Psychedelic Sunset for the body of this look, but added a super cool custom mix of Manic Panic Pretty Flamingo, an orange-based pink tone, and Psychedelic Sunset, to add some peachy face framing pieces at the very front.
Whilst we adore the appreciation of deep, warm autumnal colours throughout this season, we’ve noticed a number of other shades and colours making their autumnal debut this year. Let’s dive into some of the more alternative hair colours that this season has in store for us!
Cotton Candy Pink
We’re bursting with excitement to see that Cotton Candy Pink has become an autumnal favourite this year. Whether you choose to apply straight from the pot and create that bubblegum pink tone, or cool the colour by neutralising with our Pastel-izer or even with the Virgin Snow toner, it's obvious that baby pink is a go-to shade this season.
If you’re considering making this trending hair colour your colour for autumn, remember that this shade is particularly light in pigment so you will need to consider pre-lightening your base and toning it before applying the colour. A pre-lightened base allows the light pink colour to actually become visible in the end, whilst the toning process eliminates those pesky yellow or orange tones that can occur after bleaching. For more information on bleaching and toning, visit our blog.
Enchanting Greens
Also a divine option as we head into the cooler seasons, but one that we feel doesn’t get enough attention - green! Now green can be perceived in many different ways from neon and intense electric tones, to sea green hues that mix both green and blue shades. Either way, this colour is one to watch this season! We’ve noticed many of you opting for a new green look this autumn with plenty of our affiliates bringing that vision to life with the Manic Panic 118ml colours.
If you like to mix and match your shades then the bold look by Manic Panic affiliate @hairbygeorgiaa_ might just be one for you to save! Georgia opted for a vibrant finish using our brightest green tone, Manic Panic Electric Lizard, well known for its UV hair colour glowing ability under black light. However, a key part of this look is the beautiful blend of Venus Envy and Enchanted Forest at the root; this technique of creating contrasting roots is high on the autumn 2025 trend forecast and this look by Georgia is a great example of doing just that!
Another take on creating a dimensional look using green is by adding colours outside of its own to really draw on that ethereal vibe that comes with this colour palette. Affiliate @pops_ofcolour created a finished look that had us in awe this autumn! Using Venus Envy and Manic Panic Shocking Blue to produce a result that mirrors the cool and vibrant tones of autumn, Poppy created panels of each colour throughout her clients hair that once rinsed and styled blended beautifully into one another but added a dimensional aspect to the overall finish.
With all of these bold and diverse ideas for your autumn hair colour, it’s hard to resist a change this season. Remember, all of our hair dyes are intermixable, meaning you have even more freedom to get creative with your own shades, so don’t hold back! We’d love to see how your autumnal look transforms this year, so tag us in your posts using @manicpanic_uk or send us a message, we love hearing all about your Manic Panic experiences.
