Look 1 - Neapolitan Hair
Who doesnāt love the look of Neapolitan ice cream?! Whilst speaking with Cassie, she expressed her adoration for how these colours complement each other and if they go so well as a tasty dessert, then why not hair? āThe complementary tones of brown, pink, and blonde. It is super satisfying visually and I honestly believe anyone can rock this hairstyle!ā Cassie went on to explain whilst these colours are so visually pleasing to the eye, they also provide a unique statement that is relatable for so many people āBeing inspired by ice cream that everyone loves, and making it fun also!ā This fun and exciting inspiration drove Cassie to create a beautiful Neapolitan ice cream hair transformation and hereās how you can do the same.
To start, Cassie did back-to-back foils on the top mohawk section of the hair. Using 3 different colours, Cassie worked in sections applying a full head of bleach, except for the areas that were to remain brown. This was applied in preparation for a new colour every inch throughout the section. Underneath, the same method was used but working in long sections from top to bottom and working in inch-wide segments.Ā
Once this had processed, the bleach was washed out and the hair was prepared for the colour application. To create the pink sections of this look, Cassie used a custom mix of Pussycat Pink and Cleo Rose and for the blonde section, a soft peachy tone of Dreamsicle with a drop of Cotton Candy Pink was used. These colours were then applied to their sections ensuring alternation between colours, including the natural brown, in the application placement. Once these colours had processed for 30-40 minutes, the hair was rinsed using cold water to close the pores and lock the colour in and then styled.

Look 2 - Pinwheel
If you love your current fiery hue but fancy adding a small tweak to spice things up even further, then you might just love this look! Cassieās second Valentineās look incorporates two perfectly themed tones that scream vibrancy. This client already had red in their hair from a previous application but was keen to incorporate a new colour to create an individual style; a red and pink pinwheel was the obvious choice! āI absolutely love a pinwheel as itās really easy to create and offers so many possibilities with tons of different colours!ā Cassie expressed a true love for pinwheel hair and how well it worked for her clientās needs, especially as they were keen to keep their red tone whilst introducing something a little different.Ā
Before creating this look, Cassie and her client had discussed the colour placement for the fringe and agreed upon a split dye that ran from the very front of the fringe right through the head. To create this, Cassie split the hair into six sections and applied bleach to the roots to lift to a warm yellow hue āI find red, pinks and oranges stay longer when they have a warmer base.āĀ
Once the bleach had been processed, this was rinsed and Cassie used a colour remover on the faded red tone to create a clean base for the fresh red and pink colour application. This was then shampooed and conditioned, and the hair was placed back into six sections in a pinwheel fashion from the very top of the head. Rock āNā Roll Red and Pussycat Pink were applied to the hair, alternating one after the other around the head; the fringe was also coloured so that there was one section of pink and one of red.Ā

The colour was left to process for 30-40 minutes before being rinsed with cold water. For both of these looks, Cassie applied the Manic Panic Mermaid Hair Repair Mask to help lock the colour in for longer and provide a nourishing hair treatment!
