Manic Panic UK Ambassador, Emma Pullen @emdoeshair232, took the opportunity to create a small series. From this, we saw four different looks each of which heavily featured the Manic Panic UK pink-coloured range. Each of these looks, although doused in Manic Panic pink semi-permanent hair dye, was executed in their own individual manner; from long, thick waves to buzz-cut styles! Through this project, Emma was able to display the different ways in which pink can be incorporated into a hairstyle and that application doesn’t always have to be a solid colour.
Within this Valentine’s series, there were two looks that we were particularly blown away by. Emma chose to create a Valentine’s design on buzzcut hair; this length is perfect if you like to get arty paint patterns onto the hair. This Valentine’s buzzcut featured a spiral look from the very top of the head and followed down to the nape of the neck. This pink hue was created using Hot Hot Pink and Cotton Candy Pink and applied on top of a previously toned Silver Stiletto base. Emma added some super cute Fuschia Shock hearts on the side too! Opposite to this short-hair approach to the Valentine’s brief, Emma created a vibrant look on hair with much more length too. Working in sections and creating her custom pink mixes, Emma adds depth and dimension to her client's look with alternating tones throughout the hair. Within this look, Emma opted for Hot Hot Pink, Cotton Candy Pink, Pussycat Pink, and Pillarbox Red for some extra depth; the design was completed with the addition of blonde panels, toned with Silver Stiletto, scattered from the very front of the hair to the back.

If you want more from your Valentine's Day hair, then you need to stick around for this look! Created by Manic Panic UK affiliate, @_.hairbypaige._ this fantastic transformation will live rent-free in our heads for some time! To create this look, Paige used Divine Wine, Cotton Candy Pink from our Amplified range, Sunshine, and Electric Tiger Lily; we love how the blend of these colours creates the perfect sunrise vibe. Using Divine Wine alongside these much lighter tones is a great way of drawing attention to the other shades as they stand out much more prominently. From the colours to the finish, we adore the 70s style that Paige has created for this look!

One of our OG affiliates, @hairbygeorgiaa_ was up for creating some salon-worthy Valentine’s Day hairstyles and we were not disappointed. From Pussycat Pink fringes to spring-inspired pastel tones, we knew that Georgia had some exciting plans for this project! How about creating the look of a sunset in hair? It doesn’t get more romantic than that. All of the Manic Panic hair dyes are intermixable so you can mix, blend and smudge your colours together to create seamless results on the hair; Georgia opted for Purple Haze, Pussycat Pink and Electric Tiger Lily for this look and the results are to DYE for!

If you’re not looking for a complete change this Valentine’s Day, why not consider a subtle tint? As semi-permanent hair dyes, our formulas are designed to wash out of the hair over a certain period depending on different factors. @zofija.witch gave her hair a refresh by applying the flame-like tones of Wildfire from our red collection. Alternatively, Zofija has expressed her love for the Love Color™ Conditioners, especially our vibrant red tones! These red hair conditioners are perfect for application over faded hair colours, or try them over your naturally dark hair for a subtle cherry red tint!

Finally, let's talk extensions! You don’t always have to commit to the change, so why not try a temporary measure this Valentine’s? Our affiliate @brookepascarellihair created the perfect fringe for the occasion, and the best thing about it, it’s a clip-in! Brooke chose to colour the clip-in fringe with Pink Passion from the Love Color™ Conditioner range to start this Valentine’s transformation. To create a dip-dye effect, Brooke added Vampire Red and Raven on the very ends to add some depth.

Not only do we love these Valentine-inspired looks for the annual occasion, but they also make great options if you’re looking for a cool transitional hair colour as we head into spring. Get your hands on all you need to create these vivid semi-permanent hair dye designs right here at Manic Panic UK!
