Manic Panic UK affiliates, @kirstyy.mearss and @pinkflamingohairr have chosen Hot Hot Pink as the main shade for both of their looks whilst incorporating other vibrant colours to add depth as well as another cause for interest. @pinkflamingohairr has opted for a punk mullet style using Hot Hot Pink alongside Electric Tiger Lily and Electric Banana beneath the fringe. @kirstyy.mearss on the other hand took it upon herself to dye her own selection of hair extensions using a variety of Manic Panic colours and create a rainbow Barbiecore aesthetic. Due to its vibrant result, Hot Hot Pink makes a great solo shade but also partners well with other shades and accessories. Pairing your main Barbiecore shade with others can be a great option for those that enjoy experimenting with their hair colour and exploring a number of hues.

Since there are many different choices when it comes to the colour pink, why not use them as contrasting shades? Manic Panic UK affiliates, @popsofcolour_hair and @bleached.noir demonstrate how the same colour in different hues can create a vibrant and strong contrast and how new styles can be explored. @bleached.noir has chosen Fuschia Shock as her main colour and paired it with a Cotton Candy Pink Manic Panic front strip that sits at the very front of her hair and into the fringe which draws attention directly to the front of her hair. Whereas stylist, @popsofcolour_hair creates layers between the Hot Hot Pink and Cotton Candy Pink shades producing a beautiful disparity between the two. If pink is your favourite colour, especially for your hair, pairing different tones of pink could be a great option for you if you're seeking a little more excitement with your hair colour.

Achieving true Barbiecore hair doesn’t mean changing the colour of your whole hair, even opting for a single section or adding a subtle tint with highlights can still be Barbicore hair. Affiliates, @thehairdresserlady and @hairbygeorgiaa_ have both created some really fun pink hair transformations for their clients which make the perfect Barbiecore inspiration. Dip-dye hair is an iconic method of bringing colour into your hair and @thehairdresserlady did just that with her beautiful blonde client using Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink Hair Dye and we are completely obsessed! This style is so simple yet effective and causes no trouble if you’re looking to change it up a few months later. Choosing just a section of hair to bring some colour to can make more of a difference than some might think; something vibrant and bright will make even more of an impact. @hairbygeorgiaa_ created this amazing split fringe and front panel look using Hot Hot Pink for a true Barbiecore moment.

Maybe you actually do prefer something more solid when it comes to your hair, in which case your decision couldn’t be easier. There are a number of Manic Panic colours that you could try from pastel to deep hues or you could even customise your final colour using your favourite pink tones. Do you have a favourite Manic Panic pink dye but it’s a little too dark for what you were thinking for your next application? Try the Pastel-izer! The Pastel-izer is a simple formula that can be mixed with a small amount of any shade to pick up its undertones and create the perfect pastel version. Manic Panic sponsored artist, @emdoeshair created a vibrant yet toned-down version of Fuschia Shock for her client by mixing it with the Manic Panic Pastel-izer and we believe this is Barbiecore perfection!
