Sea Goddess
This enchanting tone combines a luxurious green hue with undertones of blue throughout. Its ocean green representation mimics and encaptures the colours of the sea that we only hear about in story books and fairytales! Maybe you’ve got your mind set on achieving the ultimate green mermaid hair this year; Sea Goddess can help you to achieve your mythical creature-inspired look as a bold solo tone or even incorporated in a vivid balayage that melts into accompanying green and blue hues.
Vibrant in tone and packed full of pigment, Sea Goddess is a go-to shade for a range of base colours, however, to see this colour embrace the emerald green colour that it embodies we suggest applying it to a clean and toned level 9-10 blonde. It is important when applying a green tone to a blonde base that the hair has been toned to an even light shade. Speaking in terms of the colour wheel, when yellow is mixed with green it will create blue; this is just the same with hair. Any yellow hue that is left in the hair after bleaching will create a more prominent blue hue when the green dye has been processed and rinsed.
Sea Goddess can be applied to a base that holds a darker pigment such as a level 7-8, however, the richness of the colour will not shine through as vibrant as those applied to a much lighter blonde. Try Sea Goddess on a light brown tone to achieve a deep green hue that is seen more prominently in direct light such as sunlight!
Pink Warrior
This renowned shade is well known for its part in the Manic Panic UK exclusive Professional Colour collection. With its surge of recognition amongst salon professionals we felt it had a place amongst the Classic Colour tones too! Pink Warrior is a vibrant pink tone, rich in pigmentation similar to another pink favourite within the Manic Panic family, Hot Hot Pink. This pink hair dye semi-permanent is a cool-toned shade that embraces every inch of its pinkness and glows vibrantly throughout the daylight hours and even under specialised UV blacklight! With its highly pigmented formula, this shade is known for its long-lasting effects and when fading will create an even light pink tone.
Pink Warrior will produce its most vibrant results when applied to a level 10 blonde base, however, it can be used on virgin unbleached hair to create a more subtle and deep pink hue. The UV hair dye does require a level 10 blonde base to see the effects; using it on a darker base, bleached or not, will dull the UV effect and lessen the chances of seeing it glow beneath blacklight.
As a solo shade, Manic Panic Pink Warrior will fulfil all your needs if you are looking for something truly ‘Barbie-fied’, but it also compliments a range of other Manic Panic shades when incorporated into other styles such as rainbow looks and a balayage.
Divine Wine
Do you enjoy versatility when it comes to the hair colour you choose? Divine Wine is the ultimate shade to suit a range of different base colours and create lasting effects! This dark pink semi-permanent hair dye contains a strong deep red undertone that provides that extra punch of rich pigment. Not only does this shade fulfil any expectations of luxurious tones, but it even creates the chicest red wine hue on deeper base colours! With red being such a dominating colour within today's hair trend forecasting, whether fiery hues or berry tones, Divine Wine will put you on the forefront of what seems to be the go-to shade nowadays!
With its highly pigmented formula and deep tones, Divine Wine provides results in a range of base colours. As is with all semi-permanent hair dyes, to reach its maximum level of pink vibrancy you will need to have pre-lightened your hair to a level 10 blonde, however, with its red undertone you’ll find this colour to be one that will alter your hair colour no matter the starting tone. Try Divine Wine on an unbleached, darker base colour to create a subtle deep hue that will shine!
Twilight Blue
Looking for something a little less vibrant that will still give you the edge? Twilight Blue is a beautiful calming cool hair tone that embodies a grey-blue hue. Inspired by the clear blue sky, this enchanting shade adds a little something to a light blonde base and will set you aside from the rest! Not everyone is looking to change up their look by adding a bold creative colour to their hair; with Twilight Blue, the effort to achieve something different doesn’t have to result in a drastic colour change. Apply Twilight Blue to a level 10-toned blonde base and await those dusky, dreamy results!
So, can Twilight Blue be applied to a base colour any darker than a level 10? The easy answer is if you want to see results, we recommend applying to a level 10 blonde base. Why? Twilight Blue is a light tone and lighter shades don’t tend to hold quite as much pigmentation, so the result on a darker base or even an unbleached base will be very minimal if anything. If you want to try this colour out on a base colour between the level of 7-9, don’t forget our formulas are all intermixable! Why not try adding a touch of Blue Moon from the Manic Panic collection to your Twilight Blue formula? This way you can keep that smoky effect we see in Twilight Blue but also build up that blue pigment with deeper tones from Blue Moon!
Pink Pussycat
Straying away from the calming hues for a minute, Pink Pussycat has landed on the Manic Panic UK website and just amped up the vibrancy of this range! If pink is your friend and vibrancy is your bestie, then this combination can’t be beaten. The electric results produced by this warm-toned neon pink hair dye are unmatchable and will have you catching the eye of many! We’re bigging up the vibrancy of this epic new pink tone; however, we haven’t even mentioned the UV results that it can create under blacklight!
