Dye Mixing FAQs:
Can I mix any dye together?
You can mix any of the Manic Panic hair dyes together, although we recommend only mixing dyes of the same duration. For instance, our Amplified range lasts a little longer than the other Manic Panic products, and so we would recommend not mixing it with a dye from another range, as it may impact the duration. If you don’t mind what the duration of the dye is, then feel free to mix any of our products together!
How do I mix the dye?
It may be a bit messy, so make sure you’ve got everything set up before starting- old clothes, towels, and gloves, plus a tint bowl and brush for your mixing. We recommend mixing a small amount of colour first to ensure that you like the end result before using up an entire pot.
How do I make hair dye lighter?
If you like one specific colour, but wish to make it lighter, we have the Manic Panic Pastel-Izer, a white cream hair dye that mixes with any of our semi-permanent dyes to create a pastel colour.
