The UV Shades

Hot Hot Pink

One of Manic Panic’s most iconic shades, Hot Hot Pink, is a bright, electrifying pink that glows under black light. This shade is perfect for anyone looking to make a bold statement day and night. The UV-reactive feature ensures you’re the centre of attention at any rave or club. You’ll also find Hot Hot Pink in the 8oz High Voltage range!

Due to the highly pigmented tone of these shades, Hot Hot Pink can produce noticeable results on various base colours. If you want to achieve that vibrant hot pink hair result that this tone is well-known for, we suggest applying it to a pre-lightened level 8-10 base. Alternatively, Hot Hot Pink can be applied to darker base levels from levels 6-8 in which the result will appear more subtle and particularly noticeable in certain lights. 

Cotton Candy Pink

For those who prefer a softer, pastel look, Cotton Candy Pink is the perfect choice and if you love it that much, you can double up with the Cotton Candy Pink 8oz High Voltage pot! This dreamy, light pink shade also glows under UV light, giving a whimsical, glowing effect. It’s ideal for creating a fun, fairy-tale aesthetic!

Cotton Candy Pink is one of the much lighter tones within our collection of pink shades and because of this, it requires a very light blonde base to produce a vibrant and noticeable result. We recommend applying Cotton Candy Pink hair dye to a base level 10; the hair should also be toned after pre-lightening to help remove any unwanted yellow tones that may produce an unwanted result once the dye has been applied and rinsed.

Pretty Flamingo

A delicate pink shade that also holds tones of orange to create a peachy finish, Pretty Flamingo hair dye is another UV-reactive shade that offers a subtle yet eye-catching colour. With tones of orange, this shade works well for those who want a more understated pink that still pops in the right lighting.

Similar to Cotton Candy Pink, Manic Panic Pretty Flamingo is a very light pink hue and won’t perform well on a base that is too dark. To make the most of this shade the hair should be pre-lightened to a level 10 blonde base and toned to remove any unwanted hues throughout. 

The Manic Panic UV hair dye shades are particularly unique and create awesome results! If you are particularly keen to trial this UV effect, the hair must be pre-lightened to a level 10 very light blonde base before applying the dye; the darker the hair is before application, the less likely the UV component will execute well.

We have recently dropped three new pink tones as a part of the 118ml High Voltage Classic Colour range. Each of these shades is unique to each other, offering bold and vibrant results for a selection of different tonal preferences.

Pussycat Pink

One of the newest additions to the Manic Panic UK family, Pussycat Pink is a bold and vibrant shade that’s already gaining popularity. Although Pussycat Pink is an extremely vibrant tone, we recommend applying this colour to a level 10 base to make those electric notes pop! Applied to this base colour, you’ll be giving that UV feature its best chance at shining vibrantly under specialised black light as well as providing striking results during the day. 

Pink Warrior

Pink Warrior, iconically known to be exclusive to our Professional Colour range, has now joined our Classic Colour range for all to enjoy! The strength of this colour produces a perfectly pink tone that comes to the minds of many whenever pink is mentioned. The rich tones of the Pink Warrior hair dye are undeniably vibrant and outstanding not only during the day but under UV black light too thanks to the exciting UV feature included in this formula. This new release is perfect for anyone looking to embrace a powerful new colour. 

If Pink Warrior sounds like it could be your vibe, we recommend applying it to a pre-lightened base level 8-10, however, its highly pigmented tone can produce a subtle hue to darker tones from a level 6.

Divine Wine

If you are looking for a deeper pink tone to get your pink kicks, you’ll love our final new pink tone to mention; Divine Wine. A more subdued pink with wine-red undertones, this shade creates a warm berry-like result that is particularly popular in today’s hair world. If pink is definitely on the cards, but a more humble and refined approach is your vibe then check this colour out!

Due to its deeper pigment, Divine Wine hair dye is a versatile shade that can be applied to a wider range of base colours. On those lighter pre-lightened hair levels, Divine Wine will show off its pink tones much more noticeably, whereas, on a dark hair level, those sweet red undertones will become more dominant and create a warm wine-like result.
