Hair Colours and Styles We're Taking Into 2025

2024 has been a year full of experimentation from interesting hairstyles and placements to unique and bold colours. The Manic Panic Dye Hards have been busy this year creating standout results both in the salon and at home using a variety of the different Manic Panic semi-permanent hair dyes. Throughout the year several styles particularly stood out to us that we hope to see again next year, all of which were executed with a variety of Manic Panic products. Let’s get to know these exciting looks that we’re taking into 2025!

Statement Fringe

This year gave the fringe its moment with many choosing to highlight it with a bold colour. The statement fringe is a great option for those who do not wish to colour all of their hair but still want to make a dramatic impact; this eye-catching colour placement will visually show off your individuality and creative personality. Figure yourself a bit of a trendsetter? Try your own version of this look by mixing the Manic Panic dyes to create your custom tones like @kitti_in_the_art_house or apply separate colours that highlight each other.

Hot Hues

Whether a bold red tone or a vibrant orange, there’s always a need for something that is going to bring a bit of heat. Trending for what feels like many years, vivid red hair continues to reign as a popular colour. However, we have also seen a rise in the use of bright orange tones and it is becoming a much more versatile shade for many to experiment with. @cassieolivia_hair used Vampire’s Kiss, a vibrant red hue with a pink undertone, to create this bright finish.

Block Stripes

Unique, bold and simply fantastic! The block stripes standout trend was all the rage in 2024 and we believe will continue to thrive in the new year too. This colour placement draws the eye towards the hair immediately with its unusual look, whether you choose to couple up two vivid colours or create a contrast with something more natural. @kayla_hair_beauty highlighted a bright pink base with hot red block stripes which blends into the pink lengths. 

Peachy Pink

A slightly different take on the Barbie pink hue we were seeing a couple of years ago, this peachy pink hair tone is our answer to any warm-toned pastel needs. With its succulent orange undertone, we believe this shade will become a star within trending hair colours in 2025. @hairbygeorgiaa_ used a custom mix of Cotton Candy Pink, Dreamsicle and Sunshine to bring some warmth to this candy pink shade.

Sunset Scenes

If you’re missing the colours of summer whilst we’re in the coolest and darkest season, this sunset trend might be something to put at the top of your creative colour bucket list. The pink and orange hues instantly take us back to warm evenings on the beach watching the sun go down! Using Pussycat Pink and Psychedelic Sunset, @_.hairbypaige._ brought our summer dreams to life!

Raccoon Stripes

For those who really like to express their personality and individual style through their hair, racoon stripes are a great way of adding a statement feature to your everyday look. Whether you choose classic colours such as black and white like @cassieolivia_hair did in this spooky look, or you could try it with a vivid hue such as Electric Lizard to contrast with your natural hue. 

Acid Mermaid 

Inspired by the ocean hues, this blend of blue and green tones creates the ultimate aquamarine look that we’d love to see more of in 2025. To add something special to this result, @emdoeshair232 uses the UV dyes, Electric Lizard and Electric Banana, to give this look a glowing finish when under black light, completing the acid mermaid look.
